1. Selecting a reasonable welding seam size: As the size of the welding seam increases, the deformation increases, but a welding seam that is too small will reduce the structural load capacity, speed up the cooling rate of the welding joint, increase the hardness of the heat-affected zone, and easily produce defects such as cracks. Therefore, the smallest possible welding seam size that can be used in the process should be selected based on the thickness of the plate while meeting the requirements for the structural load capacity and ensuring welding quality.
